This bass is amazing, Its very well made and well worth the price!!Its sound is so prominent with its deep tones you wont need an amplifier. The picture does not show its true beauty. You have to see it to believe it.I have the black one and i love it.

Like others have said, this is a very nice tone acoustic bass. Never playing a bass before, only acoustic guitar for 20 years. The tone is just excellent without a amp. Amazing the rush I get from thumping out big back beats. Mean it really has it. I did loosen the trust rod a half turn. As it comes stock tight. This released the tension just a very tad. Didn't effect the tone in any way. But very noticable on the fingers.
Solid Buy! Great Buy For The Money!

I am very happy with this purchase. The neck is a bit longer than I expected. Other than that I have 0 complaints. The guitar is lightweight, and produces a nice tone. A really great instrument for the beginning bass player (which I am). Solid value! Pick this up!

When I first got my Dean I was pretty happy with it, but after a few weeks the top string started to not fret properly, i.e. it would sound about two frets higher than I was intending. It took me a few weeks to realize that the neck was warping. I got into the truss rod and adjusted it to the point where the frets acted the way they should but now the action is quite high and it doesn't play nearly as easily. Other than this, I have been pleased.
